Asia Society Triennial
October 2020 - June 2021, New York
The first-of-its kind art festival across NYC, focused on contemporary art from and about Asia and the diaspora.
I launched the inaugural Asia Society Triennial of New York City, a multi-venue arts festival featuring the inter-disciplinary contemporary art and programs of 40 Asian artists from 19 different countries.
I oversaw all aspects of this international festival: from planning of programming and marketing, to managing artists and logistics, through to a successful execution in the thick of a global pandemic.
5 Venues
40 Artists from
19 Countries
Over 20 Programmes
I launched the Instagram Live program, “Talking Dreams,” featuring artists from all over the world in their elements. From studio to kitchen, art was discussed, cooked, jammed, painted, and danced. We had a lot of fun, and so did our audience: each session had hundreds of live viewers engaging with their comments, love and questions.
Community Driven Social Art
I conceived and executed Eat Chocopies Together, a first for Asia Society. Read the case study here.
